Double Chocolate – Chocolate Cake

  • 1⅔ cups self raising flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup hersheys’s cocoa
  • 1⅓ cups light brown sugar
  • 1½ sticks soft & unsalted butter (Lurpack)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbspn vanilla sugar
  • ⅓ cup yoghurt
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 cup Lindt dark chocolate broken into chips
  1.  Preheat oven to 180 degrees & Grease tin
  2. Put the flour, bicarbonate of soda, cocoa, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and sour cream into your stand mixer and mix until completely combined
  3. Add the boiling water
  4. Pour the mixture into your greased tin
  5. Add some chocolate chips on top
  6. Bake for 55 minutes or until completely done (check with a toothpick, it needs to come out clean)
